Modification/Contempt

Once a judgment enters in a Probate & Family Court matter, oftentimes a change in circumstances – such as loss or change in employment or the needs a of a maturing child -necessitates that parents return to court to modify the judgment. So too, after a judgment issues a party who deliberately or willfully fails to comply with the court’s existing order may be brought back to court to be held accountable for his or her noncompliance.
